Mr. Rogers was aU.S. Navy Seal, combat-proven in Vietnam with over twenty-five confirmed kills to his name. He wore a long-sleeved sweater on TV, to cover the many tattoos on his forearm and biceps. He was a master in small arms and hand-to-hand combat, able to disarm or kill in a heartbeat.
How many of you guys knew that?!
there goes my childhood.
Mr. Rogers is a G
i knew as a young child i digged him a little too much, now i know why
Straight thug lol
Beast.
WOW…
I kinda knew this, not the whole tattoo things though. But did you know, that the puppets in his alternative world represent his friends that he lost? and the trolley represents the connection that he had, and still has with them even if their in different worlds.
He’s a f***ing Gee
This is one of those examples where anyone will believe anything they read on the internet. Mr. Rogers (Fred Rogers) never served in any branch of the military and did not have a bunch of tattoos. He earned his bachelor’s degree in music in the 1950’s and basically worked in television since then.
These rumors began in the early 1990’s and just resurfaced after he died in 2003.
Let’s just accept that he wore a cardigan because he was classy as heck and that not every old man we know has served in Vietnam.
